Everything is going well, she's happy and impressed. Then you do something crazy and blow it all away. Having a perfect date entails grace and manners.

What should you avoid when you're out on a date?

Don't fart or pick your nose in front of her. It's a big turn off. And it's disgusting especially when you're having dinner or having a meal. Remember your manners your mother taught you when you were young. If your nose is really itchy or if your stomach is and you really have to do something about it, excuse yourself and do what you have to do in the comfort room or someplace away from people.

Blabbering while eating. Make sure that you're mouth is not full when you talk. Your date will be irritated if bits and pieces of what you're eating lands on her face. And it would be awkward if you smile with bits of food on your teeth. Talk but don't talk much. And don't manipulate the conversation. Let your date have her say. Your date will feel more special if you show that you listen to her and that you are interested in what she has to say.

Punctuality is a very important aspect in every rendezvous. Even if your partner is surely going to be late, try to be early. You will impress your date if you know how to value time.

Don't argue. Even if you disagree with what you're date is saying, change topic. It's not healthy to have an argument while having dinner. Talk about something that you both agree on or some neutral topic. Talk about the news, the food or your favorite television shows. This would ease the tension caused by the disagreement.

Don't use your cell phone when on a date. Focus all of your attention on your date. It's rude to do something else when you're talking with someone. Switch your cell phone to silent mode. Don't reply to text messages or answer calls unless it's an emergency.

Compliment your date. If you're a guy, appreciate the girl's shoes. Guys often disregard the girl's footwear and just focus on the face or the dress. Complimenting a girl's shoes shows that you're paying attention to her to the smallest details.

For the girls, bring your own money. Don't depend on the guy to bring you home. A lot of things might happen. In case your date did not turn out right and the guy refuses to bring you home, you can go home on your own. It always pays to be ready.

Whatever happens during your date, strive to end the night on a good note. Don't leave your date with negative impressions or reactions. Even if you think you won't go out with him or her again, at least be friends. You might not have found a boyfriend or girlfriend, at least you found a friend.
