Baby Crib Safety: Do's & Don'ts For Your Baby's Safety As They Sleep

While you are looking forward to your new arrival you are most likely thinking about organizing your baby's room. When selecting, assembling and using your baby crib, there are numerous of baby crib safety issues you should think about. If you follow the tips given here, it will help you ensure the safety of your baby while they are in their crib.

Do: Ensure that any crib you get complies with the regulation safety standards of the country you reside in. This will broadly speaking ensure that the crib is made from appropriate materials, is suitable for use, and is made to specifications which are designed to protect against injury.

Don't: Leave any toys, mobiles etc that have any kind of cord, particularly stretch cords in the crib along with your baby while it is unattended.

Don't: Leave any electrical items in the crib with your child. This includes any item that may create a spark that could result in a fire. Obvious items would include electric blankets or electrical toy items.
