Babies Need Sleep A Lot

By:

Infants require 15 hours of sleep between every single night, and that should come as no surprise considering all the things that are happening to their crazy little baby bodies. Imagine you were just spit out on some alien planet and not only do you have to make sense of the world around you, but your body is quickly changing from day to day.

In case you didn't know a baby is born with 300 muscles that is approximately 94 more than an adult, and out of the three hundred muscles approximately zero of them are knee caps. Yes, sorry mothers, your infant has no knee caps, not to worry though they will develop in around six months.

Apart from the bone structure of your body being rearranged and melded together, you have never used a muscle in your life. Presumably, it is like when first learning to wiggle your ears or to move an isolated toe, but try to imagine your entire body like that.

You have got to understand this time for your child is going to be stress full, and the worst part about this is the dang kid can't even cry, not technically anyway. At birth a child can scream and yell and get red in the face from doing all that, but he cannot actually create tears.

Keep that in mind when you are trying to feel bad for your infant baby. The best thing you can do for your overwhelmed child is get him proper rest.

Healthy nourishment and a good amount of love are also going to play a part in the development of your child, but sleep is when the body actually undergoes physiological change. When you exercise you actually tear your muscles a little bit, and when you think you do the same thing to the neurons in your brain.

The only way to rebuild and strengthen those muscles and those neurons is through healthy rest, and that goes for adults and more importantly babies. Babies are developing at an alarming rate, in two years from birth they are going to be saying things and expressing desires like a real person.

Try to get your infant baby child on a healthy schedule. This is the going to be the best thing you can do for your baby's health, and also this can help to prevent some unhealthy sleep deprivation.

For the sake of your child start putting him to sleep. Oh yeah, and when feeding your child if he turns his head it means he's full, and that is where you get shaking your head "no" from babies.
