BANGALORE TRAFFIC NEWS HAS EVERYONE HOOKED ON

By: Tapan

The bane of a big city in India is the mindless traffic congestion on every road. The road traffic in India, especially in big cities like Bangalore (Bengalooru), continues to give constant headaches to the city residents. The Traffic jams in India have become legendary and no place comes to mind in the country that is spared by this menace. The road conditions in India are nothing to write home about. That’s why it is vital to get the latest traffic news from around the country. The Indian traffic news was not considered as a thrust area by the media. But that was the case in the past. Now the city specific news channels and the local FM radio stations have made a policy decision to disseminate the latest rush hour bulletins for the convenience of the people so that they can avoid the congested roads during their travel to and from their workplace.

Bangalore traffic news is similarly aired periodically, so that the lives of common people do not get adversely affected and a smooth traffic flow is maintained on every road in the city. The amount of congestion on the Bangalore roads is an open secret. The timely traffic news at least ensures that most people are informed before hand about the possible choked area of the city so that they can take adequate precautions and if possible, avoid that route altogether.

The latest traffic news from Bangalore suggests that the authorities are sleeping on the pending developmental projects. According to a report, over two years after the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) was entrusted with the task of widening roads in Bangalore, not a single road has actually been widened. For instance, Hosur Road was the first stretch for the exercise. Thirty metres of land on either side were identified, compounds were fenced out and yet the road remains in the same status â€" with the same traffic juggernaut. If the reports like these keep on filtering from time to time, the situation can worsen within no time and the blame squarely lies on the politicians and bureaucrats.

For better or worse, Bangalore traffic news has everyone hooked from child to an aged elderly!
