B2b: The Chinese Perspective

By:

The whole world is familiar to the fact that China is a fast growing economy and is making giant leaps and bounds in the arena, and the day is not far when it shall overtake its immediate competitors in Asia and stand tall amongst the developed nations of the world. In this fast growing China, B2B or business to business transactions are playing an important role, and activities like import/export and global sourcing are certainly being pushed in the positive direction. To give an idea to the reader about the rate of growth it would be sufficient to indicate that the Gross Domestic Product in China is currently growing at 3 times the pace of United States of America. There are several reasons for this phenomenal growth in B2B or business to business deals and associated activities such as import/export and global sourcing.

Traditionally China did not have an open market policy but was following communist policies but of late it all started to change for the better of the country and its citizens. China started to adopt open market policies where most of the decisions are taken based upon the market forces of demand, supply etc. rather than some odd government official dictating the same without much logic. This had led to a spurge in B2B or business to business activities and also lead to phenomenal increase in import/export figures of China and increased its scope as a global sourcing venue.

There are plenty opportunities for doing B2B or business to business deals in China which related to import/export or global sourcing. For example if people wants to invest in the stock markets in China, they can simply do so by using the appropriate websites which provide ample information on all sorts of companies carrying out import/export, global sourcing and other B2B or business to business deals.

Another factor which is boosting B2B or business to business activities is the increasing quality infrastructure such as power sources, roads and so forth which give a great push to companies interested in carrying out import/export and global sourcing deals with China. To take a very simple but interesting imaginary example, let us suppose how Bill Gates would feel if he comes to China for some import/export or global sourcing deal only to find that there are not proper transport facilities to the place he wants to reach or there is not ample power to supply the needs of a computer manufacturing unit. Hence these things have certainly gone a long way to improve the import/export and global sourcing position of China thus increasing the B2B or business to business options.
