Ayurvedic Treatment At Panoramic Sea Resort Kerala

My uncle who is a great admirer of boat races once invited me to accompany him to Kerala for witnessing the boat races. I readily agreed because I had heard a lot about its backwaters. As my uncle knew all the required details of the place, I was not supposed to bother about the arrangements. We had our rail tickets confirmed and I was seeing my dream coming true.

The train journey was tiresome still exciting. Uncle had made room reservations at one of the resorts in a place called Alleppey. The name of the resort was panoramic sea resort and it was situated right in front of the beach. I later discovered that Panoramic Sea Resort, was supposed to be the most affordable luxury resorts in alleppey.

The resort was at a convenient distance from the railway station. Next morning when I got up late around 10 AM, I found the place to be calm and serene. When uncle declared the day as the rest day and we will be heading to the boat race venue two days later, I had plenty of time to discover Alleppey and the surrounding area. I hired a bicycle and went around the marketplace where I saw many Kerala traditional goodies. When I returned late in the evening, I saw uncle nicely sipping his favorite drinks. Out of curiosity I discovered the resort was it was having near about 24 well furnished cottage accommodations. The resort also has a multi cuisine restaurant, in which we had excellent dinner including delicious sea food. Other facilities which were available for the guest include conference hall, swimming pool, recreation room, travel desk and boating facility upon request.

But apart from all these facilities my uncle was most interested in undergoing the Ayurveda treatments, in the Ayurvedic Massage Centre of the resort. I learned a few things about Ayurveda from uncle that it is the ancient medical science of India combining variety of techniques and herbal medicines. Ayurvedic treatments in Kerala are said to be effective in treating many complicated ailments like Arthritis and spondylitis. Panchakarma in Ayurveda is the purification process used for cleaning the toxins of the body. The Panoramic resort at Alleppey is offering packages of Panchakarma ranging from seven days to twenty one days. As we were supposed to travel to the boat race venue after two days, we preferred to undergo the short duration Ayurvedic treatments only. Impressed by the treatments we planned to visit the resort in the next season for undergoing full scale ayurvedic treatments in Kerala.

We went to the boat race location and I was really amazed by the beauty of the place and the traditional boat races. The Nehru Trophy boat race organized at Punnamda Lake near Alleppey or Alappuzha is conducted in August every year. The river side where the race begins was literally jammed with spectators cheering the participants.

On our return journey uncle told me that he liked the panoramic resort among the luxury resorts in alleppey for two things, first one being the suitable location and second being the ayurveda treatment.
