Operating System or O.S:

The software that controls your computer, there are 3 major operating systems in the market today. Windows, OS X by Mac / Apple and Linux.

Processor:

The brains of the computer the faster the number and more cores it has the faster the system is.

Hard Drive:
The storage unit where your files are stored, the operating system is also stored in the hard drive.

RAM:

Random Access Memory what allows the user to multi task and run programs at the same time. The more ram the faster the system is. Think as lanes on a highway says manager Michael James.

Screen Size:

The size of the screen (monitor) on a desktop pc. The standard are 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17. Keep in mind that a 2nd external monitor can also be used on a laptop.

Optical Drives:

Those are your CD and DVD burners and readers.
