Avoid Free Samples Scams Online

Since the dawn of the internet finding information online has become easier and easier. This is also true when searching for free samples online. Do a Google search with the words free samples and you will get several million results. Unfortunately a great many of these sites are garbage.

So how do you distinguish the good sites from all the crap? There are a few things you can keep in mind when searching for free samples online that may help you avoid getting scammed, spammed, or wasting any of your precious time.

Rule #1
You should never have to fill out a survey in order to get something for free. If you need to make an investment of an hour just to get a travel size bottle of shampoo it's not worth it. I don't know about you but an hour of my time is worth at least two bottles of shampoo.... kidding. OK, so if you visit a site and they ask you to fill out a "short" survey in order to get your freebie, just SAY NO! Leave that site and move on to the next one.

Rule#2
Aside, from your name and address, which are needed to deliver the sample to you, you should never have to give out any personal information. Think about it, If I want you to try out my new product, why on earth would in need your mothers maiden name or your social security number!? Never give out any personal info. If a sample sites asks you, leave that site immediately, they are probably phishing for your personal info and nothing else.

Rules#3
Free means free! If a site is offering you a free sample it should be free. You should never have to give out your credit card information or pay any shipping and handling fees. If at any point a site asks you for money when dealing with free samples, leave that sites and move on to the next.

Follow these simple rules and you will have no problem staying away from scam free sample sites!
