Aviation Job Opportunities In Coming Decade

By:

Boeing and Airbus, two Airline giants predict passenger traffic around the globe to increase greatly through until 2028. Increases of between 2.4% in North America and 6.9% in the Middle East are forecast. Thus Aviation Jobs will be in continual demand if the growth indicators in passenger traffic as forecast by two of the worlds biggest airlines are correct.

Mostly in Developing countries, piloting is a closed circle affair where those who have the knowledge, posses all of it and those who do not know are completely clueless. This has led to a situation where very few parents, guardians or teachers can direct children on how to get into the Airline Industry.

Unknown to most people, there are lots of other Aviation Courses apart from the most popular piloting. Aerospace manufacturing is strongest in and offers most aviation jobs among the world. The importance of the aerospace industry in the total non-financial business economy is relatively small. Other career choices include flight attendants, air traffic controllers, airline operations, aerospace engineers etc.

Through self-assessment and with the help of others you find that you are a match for the specific aviation course you are considering, then you can proceed to research on training institutions that offer the courses that will equip you with the necessary skills.

Unfortunately the recent bankruptcy announcements for some Airlines has sent a shudder through the aviation industry as expected job cuts loom and possible further bankruptcy filings are considered. These are not good days for many carriers as high legacy costs, pricey jet fuel, and inefficient management practices have worked together to bring down some of the bigger names. Fortunately, all is not bleak in the industry and, in fact, many jobs are being created for the opportunistic person.

The big market of Asia, Middle East and Latin America is making a sizable impact in passengers carried with a 6% growth rate forecast. Obviously this expanding growth will also generate the demand for new planes which in itself will guarantee significant jobs in the airline industry from a manufacturing and supply point of view.

The key here is to ensure you carry out extensive research. It is always better to have too much information before choosing any Aviation Courses. It helps you get a step closer to achieving your dream of being aviation professional or works to direct you towards the best suited career for you.
