First of all I am a mother of three children that I would like to spend more time with. When I was much younger, the father of my children use to beat me and he was extremely degrading and so as a very young woman I did not pursue any type of career. Now that I have removed myself and my children from that situation, I am stronger and now trying to find my footing in my life. I am now trying to support my children by working 2 jobs. To tell you the truth I am tired of working to pay the bills and I don't get any child support. So I am now ready for a change in my life and this is one step closer to that change. I understand that the working from home is a wonderful advantage to have I would also like to mention for me some other advantages that would greatly affect my life. One, I would make more money because the average salaries for medical transcription is great and would not have to work 2 jobs unless I so choose. Two, I would be able to go to my sons school and eat lunch with him from time to time. I would also be able to be a class mother and help his teacher. My son has terets and needs some special attention from time to time and with this new opportunity, I would be able to make myself more available to his needs. Three, I would be able to have a much needed single moms night out with some friends and not worry about how much time I am spending because I have to wake up early or how much money I am throwing away while my other needs are not being meet. Some of this may be repetitive, but I will try to change it up a little. One of the major reasons is that I would be able to say I have a career and be proud of what I have accomplished. Another is that it would be more time with my family because I work two jobs and for a very long time have been working 7 days a week and I would love to have a day off. I also believe that there is always going to be a need in the medical field and that is a very wide spectrum and is covered my many people. I would like to be one of those people. I believe that this career path will be a wise chose for me and my family. The flexibility is just a bonus for me. I don't mind spending time away from home to work it would just be a wonderful blessing to be able to work from home and spend some much needed family time with my children. First I must achieve my medical transcription training, then after that my goals will take effect. In the first year finding MT employment would be a great start. However eventually my goal is to have my own work from home business within 5 years and to help people that are interested in going into this career. I would like to be able to tell people about my new career and they think that sound like a dream job how do I start and be able to direct them.
