Autism Spectrum Disorder (asd)

It is a disease that not a lot of people are familiar with and what causes this. Basically this is a disorder that affects a childs developmental capacity, the capacity to make sense of emotions, communicate with other kids with ease, and make eye contact conversation, building relationship, or making connections with other kids. Of course each situation differs from one kid with similar disorder to another kid. Some kids with autism may experience inability to speak or verbally communicate depending on the severity of the affected area on a childs brain. It will require special help for autistic kids with severe autism to communicate with other people.

Their reaction to things and certain action such as a gentle touch varies from normal kids, even to certain normal sounds or music can irritate or anguish them and react differently as normal kids would do. Typically, normal people are able to tell or connect certain gestures to emotions. In this respect it is safe to say that autistic kids cant connect other peoples emotion from simple smiling to the feeling of happiness. This is why, autistic kids need to be enrolled in special programs or therapies according to their needs. Autistic kids have distinct behaviors that differs them from normal kids, they like repetitive behaviors or routine, sudden changes in their repetitive routines and communication skills, verbal or non-verbal communication. They cant voice out or find the right expressions to convey their feelings and thoughts. They dont like surprises which means, altering their daily routines. A simple alteration of their repetitive comfort routines will lead to tantrums. Like the arrangement and positioning of autistic kids, they dont want any of their toys or items being moved. It will create disturbance and chaos.

Kids with mild autism can still do most stuff without needing help, however kids affected severely is a different story. Theyll need thorough assistance for the rest of their lives. As a parent or as parents, you need to be in support when needed. However, being human we cant live long to take care of an autistic childs needs thus it is important to plan for ahead for the future. Some parents take action by enlisting their kids to various workshops and therapies that will help your child make an improvement and lessen the effect of the disorder on your child.
