Australian's Are Preparing For Oprah Winfrey's Visit

Many Oprah fans are looking forward to Oprah"s visit to the land down under as this will be their first chance to actually sit through a taping of her show in this fine region. Oprah has announced that she will be filming at least two shows from the Sydney Opera House and fans are anticipating this interesting adventure.

Her tour of Australia is just one of the big things that she has planned for this her final season on the air. She claims to have a few other big things planned but no further information is being released about future plans at this time. And it looks like she is not going to be traveling alone to this amazing region as she will be flying along with a number of of her U.S. fans and her longtime friend John Travolta.

Oprah will not be restricting her Australia visit to just the Sydney Opera House as she promises to include stops to several different Aussie hot spots such as the Queensland region, Melbourne, and has included the Great Barrier Reef on her list of things to see while in the region. Many are looking forward to the Oprah visit not only because it'll provide Australians the chance to see this incredible icon in person, yet also because of the potential press, money, and boost to tourism that will come as a result of such a highly publicized trip to these different regions.

For Australian"s one of the greatest industries is tourism and this is where a good portion of their money comes from. Having this kind of jump start to their upcoming year has Aussie"s feeling very positive about the effect that this visit will have on their economy.

As Oprah travels through the region with her fans their will be millions of viewers getting a birdseye view of the entire region from their living room and the hope is that once people begin to see how absolutely amazing this region is they will flock to Sydney and the surrounding areas for their upcoming holiday. And Oprah claims that not only has she always dreamed of visiting Australia but that she is hoping that her visit does help to enhance the attraction of this lovely region to the world. Always altruistic, Oprah is looking to take U.S. fans to Australia, allow Aussie fans to see her in person, and help boost the economy in Australia. It's amazing how one woman can accomplish so much.
