The country is getting between AUD$800 and AUD$820 million from these people. By 2020, the country is planning to triple the number to AUD$2.4 billion.

McEvoy has mentioned that since years, at diplomatic level, the government of Australia has been working with India to maintain a good diplomatic relation between these two nations. He also expressed that it is the right time for them to take the efforts to the next level. Australia has done a lot to restructure its image among Indians and thinks that the High Commission has done an excellent job in this regard. Now, Australia is back on its track to grab the opportunity to rebuild its image in the world scenario.

The main focus of this 10 year Campaign of Tourism Australia is to build a brand image of its own through digital and social media, and to provide direct access to non-stop Australia flights to its visitors. Currently, most of Australian flights are routed via Asian hubs, such as: Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok. At present, the Tourism industry of this nation is gearing up to welcome more travelers from India.
