Indian astrology has mainly three branches, namely Siddanta, Samhita, and Hora. Under Siddanta comes the study of planets and stars. Natural calamities, weather predictions, and rainfall come under Samhita. The Phalitha Jyothisha is that branch which deals with the art and science of predictions.
