Hair is important because it helps to protect the head from cold when it is winter and from the sun when it is summer. It also protects the head from dust and other particles. Hair makes or unmakes a person. You can gauge a person on what kind of a person he/she is through the hair. When a person does not take care of his/her hair, they say that he/she is careless. The dictionary meaning of careless is negligent, indifferent, unconcerned. On the other hand, when a person is careful, he/she has an attentive concern for his/her well-being. There are people who are painstakingly concerned about their looks. They go to the beauty parlor to have their hair done. The hairstylist knows best what kind of hairdo is good for you. Or you can flip on their hairstyle magazines to find out what kind of hairdo you want.

There are people who are very careful with their hair. The only difference is that they cannot afford to go to the beauty parlor every so often because of budget problem. Nowadays, people are very careful with their money that they cannot part with it for the luxury of a good hairdo. So they resort to doing the hairstyling themselves.
