To be a nurse is to be in a career where job security is all but guaranteed. *Private Practices are another area where you will have the time as a nurse to get to know your regular patients and their individual needs. The private practice, while hectic, has a pace that is much less stressful than in a hospital or emergency department yet it is just as rewarding.

*Clinics are a fantastic place to work as you get to help a wide variety of people who would otherwise have no place from which to seek help. The clinics across the country are usually very busy places, which eliminates the possibility of becoming bored or stagnant in one setting. If you like working with many diverse peoples, the clinic is the place to be.

*Schools can be either a teaching position or treating students for minor illnesses and injuries and also affords the best of both worlds, the opportunity to meet many new people and the time to develop relationships as well.

Regardless of where you work as a nurse, the path you have chosen is one that is filled with career advancement and meeting new people. The opportunity to work with and help people is a worldwide and ever-present one. Take advantage of every moment and choose your surroundings carefully.
