An effect expected to be achieved with the inventive carpet is that the base layer thereof effectively can act as a replacement of (at least most of) the particulate infill material, notably rubber material such as granules or particles, that is now used for the construction of an
artificial grass manufacturer turf system, in particular third generation turfs.
