Article Marketing And Auto Submission Software

By:

In this case study in deceptions, we will look closely at article marketing, and article submission software. Article marketing is widely used and widely advised for generating website traffic. But is article marketing a technique that could be listed under deceptions? Or is article marketing a useful tool for the average marketer? We will try and answer these questions in the following paragraphs.

At the time that most people start their internet marketing career, usually without their knowledge -- not knowing what's involved in an internet business -- one of the advertising mediums they eventually run into is that of article marketing. Article marketing is not actually based on deceptions, meaning it was not designed to keep unknowing newbie's busy wasting their time.

Where the deceptions come in... they are present at the time the knowledge of article marketing is disclosed. In my experience, a newbie starts their long journey from that first hyped-up, long winded sale pitch that claims anyone can become a millionaire easily, fast, and most of the time without paying one penny, or lifting one finger.

The deceptions are clear only after close ispection, or after years being manipulated by other markets, being run through their web of deceptions, "their marketing system". The newbie has no clue! They do not understand, nor see all of the pieces to the puzzle. They also learn their craft the hard way, by trusting others. And that trust goes much further that a simple chat, email, or phone call... it can be trust in the form of information both in print, or digitally found in an e-books.

As for article marketing generating web traffic... it can bring a website owner a very small portion of traffic to their site. But where most newbie's fail, is in thinking that article marketing is in itself all they need to do for generating website traffic. Later, when failure is upon them, they go back to searching for the answers. And what they find is another system to learn, that may or may not even work. And while some systems may have worked in the distant past, they are no longer useful.

If you have been following what I have said so far, you should see where the deceptions come in. A newbie that learns marketing as they go, piece by piece, usually by other marketers who are not trying to help them, but confuse and hopefully make a sale in the process, their setting themselves up for failure, and lots of it.

The deceptions are in plain view, on almost every multilevel marketing opportunity website. The writer's of their sales pitches are like artist, trained in compelling words of high hopes, wealth, and power. But what they really spell out in the end, is a dark secret of manipulation and cloning. Everyone learns from the same batch of overused marketing materials and techniques that no longer work, or do they give a in-depth or reasonable explanation of its use.

When it comes to article marketing software, we need to see it for what it has become. Let's say, you designed a secret software program that started to make you lots of money. Would you want to tell everyone, or keep it to yourself? If you told everyone else, and started selling it, your secret would not be a secret any longer, and you would have to design another software, or find another way to make money.

But once you have used your secret software to the point it no longer works well... as a last attempt to make money, you start selling it to the general public, advertising it like it were something new, while in fact, you and several of your marketing buddies used it to the point it no longer worked. So they all start selling it, while the public is unaware. The market gets saturated, and they use their money to do it all over again, and again.

And what about all of those article websites? Another one of the decpetions! When things become automated, and everyone jumps on board, it ruins the once useful technique. If everyone can afford to by article submission software, and they never have to visit any of the websites, then we need to ask the question, "Who is going to see them?"

To counter such a question, we hear... "Posting your articles will help you rank better on Google because, it is like a backlink to your website... that is if you do it correctly!" Again I will say, most of these things that used to work, eventually fissle out.

After learning article marketing and playing that game, we need to play another game... that of the search engine game. Just like this article your reading -- I do not have header 1, 2, or 3 tags with my keywords in them, nor do I have enough keywords throughout the entire artcile. Just those two things alone makes my article less than perfect on my website. But in order to make Googles robots happy, I need to junk up and destroy the flow of my articles.

What ever happened to the good ole days when you could just write compelling content? As for automation... including search engine robots, we pay the price! Look for deceptions, they're every where.
