This medical term arthritis refers to the feeling of stiffness and pain as time passes by in a person"s body and joints. Sometimes their joints are hard to move, and they find it difficult to stand, stretch, walk or climb, due to the stiffness in their hands, knees and hips. These people are the victims of arthritis.

Joints as we all know are the places where two joints meet. These joints refer to either your elbow or knew. A person suffers from arthritis when there is terrible swelling and pain in these joints. Other kinds of arthritis maybe the pain problems that one may face in other organs of a person like the eyes or chest. Surprisingly arthritis could affect a person"s skin too.

These pain and swelling could result in redness as well. Swelling occurs when a person faces inflammation. These signs are an indirect way of telling the person that there is definitely something wrong.

Some people who suffer from arthritis are under the misconception that they won"t be able to take care of their family or children. Others are under the impression that these diseases must just be accepted.

Without doubt arthritis is painful, but there are things that a person can do to be made to feel better.

Some people may worry that arthritis means they won't be able to work or take care of their children and their family. Others think that you just have to accept things like arthritis. Arthritis has many classified under it, but the most common of all are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid.

Osteoarthritis is one of the most common forms of arthritis. This form usually happens with age and this disease affects hips, knees and fingers.

While Rheumatoid arthritis when a person"s defense system in the body does not work as it is supposed to. This form of arthritis affects the bones, joints and other organs such as hands and feet. A victim of this disease starts to feel tired and may also have fever. Arthritis with the required medication can definitely be kept under control.
