In recent times it seems you can not get away from the comedy series 30 Rock, advertisement is definitely not something they need to improve on. 30 Rock is a TV series which airs on NBC and was created by comedian Tina Fey. The comedy series is loosely based on the famed comedians experience writing for the very popular sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. The series takes place behind the scenes of a fictional sketch comedy show which also airs on NBC, the show centers around the writers and actors who work on the show. The name 30 Rock comes from the address where NBC studios is located "30 Rockefeller Plaza."

The TV series has earned critical acclaim over the years winning the Emmy Awards three years in a row. In 2009 the show was nominated for 22 Emmy Awards and it is said that this is the most in a single year for a comedy series.

The show also airs in many other countries besides the US, and that in itself shows how successful the show has become over the years. In Latin America seasons 1-5 aired on Sony Entertainment Television which is a cable network which airs US prime time programs in addition to syndicated US series. It also premiered in countries like Canada, premiering on CTV on October 10, 2006. Which is actually the day before it aired in the US; however the network only aired the first four episodes because later that year the network dropped the show from its programming. It was later aired on a secondary channel known as A-Channel and later it was finally moved to Citytv where it currently resides.

You can also view the show in places like Jamaica however you can only view it through cable television or programs like satellite or Direct TV. However you can view new episodes on NBC and Citytv. Even Ireland shows the comedy series in which seasons 1-4 aired on 3e with the exception of season three which was shown on Comedy Central (UK) which can also be viewed in Ireland. They are currently showing new episodes of season five. Spain is probably one of the weirdest countries the show airs in due to the fact that the country changed the name of the show, in Spain it is known as "Rockefeller Plaza."

Seasons 1-3 of Rockefeller Plaza aired on LaSexta however the fourth season has yet to be aired in Spain. It can also be seen in countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Trinidad, South Africa, Greece, Portugal, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, India, China, Australia, and Israel.

The only thing that can be said for sure about this popular comedy show is it is in fact unique and it has been on the path to success for quite sometime now. The fact that it is broadcast in so many different countries around the world just shows how successful the show has become and how successful it will become in the near future.
