Many of those seeking Argentina holidays visit this region.

The Buenos Aires region is of course very well known for its large city: although technically Buenos Aires city is an autonomous region, despite giving its name to the surrounding province. With 15 million inhabitants, it is the most populated of Argentine provinces. The region of Mendoza on the west coast is another popular spot for those thinking about Argentine holidays. Another diverse region, it descends from the heights of Anconcagua mountain (nearly 7000 metres) to relatively flat lands. There are a great deal of rivers running through this area, including the Mendoza River (Rio Mendoza). If you're looking for Argentina holidays that feature skiing then you might want to try the world famous Las Lenas ski resort.
