Are Your Customers Coming Back For More?-make It Easy With Internet Marketing

By:

All right you have made a sale to another customer. Oh happy days, money in the bank, food on the table the reason you started your business in the beginning. Now what do you do? Most companies go back to the drawing board and wait for the next customer to walk in the door. The first sale is always the hardest, you goal should be to find a way to sell to these customers again, and again. Your next step is to find an effective way to market to your customers. Internet marketing is not the only marketing system but it should be one of your primary communication method used for existing customers.

If you are a new company and are just starting you may only have one service or product. The first thing you should do is find new services and products. This is not as hard as it sounds. You find other companies that can provide products and services to your customers. People who buy once will usually buy again. They are going to look for someone they trust and that should be you.

Go do the research find out what other services would interest your clients. The best way to do this is to ask your current client list. They will tell you.

You can then develop the product on your own or you can find another company that already has the same product or service. You then arrange a joint venture with this company. You set up an arrangement where you bring them the clients and they pay you 25%-50% of the profits.

You are making the sale so you can track what is being sold than you pass on the orders to your partner.

You have to be very discriminating when you find new products or service providers. You set up your clients with another company that does not offer quality workmanship or a product that that you wouldn't buy yourself, you will ruin your name and reputation.

Then set the marketing machine in motion. Send out promotional pieces to your customers offering your new services and products. You could use postcards or sales letters to get your message out. You can have seasonal events or promotions. Send out stories of other customers and their experience with your services.

The most important thing is to stay in touch with your customers. If you don't they will forget all about you, what if you set up a basic internet marketing system. One of the most basic systems you should have working is an effective email campaign. About 5% of your current customers are going to be buying something that you offer at some time in the next year. Your goal is to be in front of them when that time comes.

You should be staying in contact with your customers every week or at the most every other week. This may seem like a lot but it really isn't. You do not want to be slamming them with blatant sales pitches every time you contact them.

You should be sending out information that will be useful to them. Ideally you should send 2-3 information articles for every sales offer or promotion. This may seem like overkill, but all studies have proven that the more you stay in contact the more they buy. You will also get a ton more referrals at the same time.

What could be better than a steady stream of customers who are coming to buy from you? With an effective internet marketing system in place your company can be in front of your customers on a consistent basis. Your customer list is a gold mine if you use it right. You should be able to craft a sales promotion at any time send it to your customers and see a surge of new sales.

Internet marketing is proven let's make it work for you.
