Besides, it is comfortable enough on an average standard. Even for cotton bed sheet, there are different types. Generally, it is categorized as pure cotton and blended cotton. Pure cotton is 100% cotton which is more natural, comfortable and breathable. Blended cotton is cotton blended with other materials such as polyester which is less comfortable and breathable but cheaper.

For a higher standard of bed sheet, you may have other luxurious choices like silk, flannel and satin. Among all the materials, silk is probably the most luxurious material. It is extremely soft, light and smooth. It is best to use in summer for its sweating keeping property. It is uncommon to use silk but flannel in winter. Flannel is made from wool and cotton and it is able to keep you warm during winter time. Finally, satin actually describes the special weave on silk, polyester or nylon. Satin bed sheet has similar properties of silk, but are smoother and less durable.
