Are You Happy Dating Online? Part-1

Internet has taken over practically our life. Most of the work we do somehow related with Internet. This is also true about online dating. But some of us are happy dating online and others not. Let us discuss more about why this difference in attitude towards online dating.

Some of us are very comfortable on the computer. They are called geeks. They enjoy tinkering with the PC and are abreast of the latest. Where as some of us are in mortal fear of working on the computer. This second category will never indulge in online dating. There is a third category that has a working knowledge of computers. Let us focus on these.

Personal Information-

Most of us are comfortable surfing the Internet and sending and receiving mails. But beyond that we do not want to give any information about our person on the net. We avoid e-commerce sites that need credit card information and we avoid pasting our photo anywhere. Some are afraid to use their real name on the net. These kinds of people will never succeed in online dating because they will be never able to post a good profile.

Their is another category of people. These people do not shy away from giving information on the Internet but look at any detail given by others with disbelief. They do not like to make friends with unknown people on social networking sites and always believe that a person saying they are from the USA may well be from Pakistan. For this category it is very difficult to indulge in online dating because they will always disbelieve the other person. This may happen because of some bad experiences. This may also happen because they always believe the worst to be true in their life. It is their habit to look at everything suspiciously.
