Are You An Mlm Junkie?

By:

Are You A Company Jumper? Do you get on the bandwagon for every new MLM company that comes along? It's time to focus on one company; do it well...then and only then should you consider joining another company.
Why do perfectly normal folks go crazy at the “pre-launch” of EVERY new company that comes along? It’s true I am on a couple of newsletter lists and some of these guys send me a different opportunity every week.
I mean come on; how do you even learn the comp plan of one good one if you’re jumping companies every week. Guys, this is a business. You need to treat it like one. You need to pick one good company and stick with it.
Should you change MLM companies? EVER? The answer to that question is a resounding, YES. Now don’t get me wrong I know it sounds like I’m talking out both sides of my mouth…but read on!
Now, I’m not a company jumper. But sometimes you have to wake up and smell the coffee or you have to pay attention to “The Proof of The Pudding”
When I started to write this I realized I didn't exactly know the origin of this message. I understood the gist of it; but not really the MEANING.
So I googled it! Here's what I found:
The proof is in the pudding'' is actually a shortened version of a very old proverb, "the proof of the pudding is in the eating.'' It means that the real worth or success or effectiveness of something can only be determined by putting it to the test, appearances and promises aside - just as the best test of a pudding is to eat it.--Editors of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition
So what are some reasons you should consider joining another MLM company?
1.    You’re not allowed to market your business in a way that generates leads for your business/team.
2.    The company is only open in one Country—and the promise of another Country being added takes YEARS.
3.    The comp plan is such that those big bonuses are dependent on a certain amount of people paying their money and quitting before the bonus gets to be paid out.
So let me comment on each of the above points
1.    I’m not saying that you should have FREE reign. I’m saying that you’re an Independent so you should have some type of say over your marketing campaigns. You should NOT make income claims; but you should market you (because people don’t join businesses they join people) and if you’re doing that why should the company have a problem with that?
2.    Let’s face it with the internet it’s a small world. You need a company where you can capture markets all over the World! You want to be World Stars not National Stars!
3.    Find a company that rewards WEEKLY (not weakly). For example, how long have you been waiting for that $1,000 bonus? Or $10,000 bonus? Here’s an example: Let’s say your comp plan is such that you earn a $1,000 bonus for every six people added to your team. The industry average is that a REP will add 2.5 to 3 people to their team. So you need to have 3 people adding 2 people a week if you want to earn that bonus weekly. But the other industry standard is that 95% of your team will quit in their first 90 days!
So here’s how it plays out:
You add 3 people (that’s industry standard) and it takes you about 90 days or 1 person a month. It’s now 90 days and guess what your first person has quit already (that’s industry standard). Now the company got their money right? But you did NOT get a bonus.
So by the time you FINALLY receive that bonus you’ve had not 6 people cycle through your team but probably closer to 12!
So, do you quit one company to join another? Only you can answer that. But if the “Proof of The Pudding” comes with a resounding yes then by all means “Jump Companies”.
