Want to spend your winter in a warmer climate say down south perhaps in Georgia? Well, then you just may be a snowbird! Snowbirds are people who leave their homes when the temperature drops and head south to warmer climates. While the snow flies in the Northern states, snowbirds enjoy golf, fishing, and barbecues in mild temperatures of the South. After winter passes, they return to their homes in the North.

Well, we have just the place for you snowbirds to go! The Villas at Coosawattee is offering Snow Bird Leases for the months of January through early April 2011. Located within The Coosawattee River Resort, The Villas is located just over 75 miles north of Atlanta in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Leases are offered for one, two, and three bedroom units, starting at $675.00 per month.

The rentals are cozy, comfortable, and perfect to enjoy the winter wonderland of the North Georgia Mountains. All units are completely furnished with dishes and kitchen equipment, as well as washer and dryers. Telephone service is included in the lease, as well as water and basic cable television. Internet access is available at the Recreation Center and the Coosawattee Library.

Leases include the use of the resorts exclusive amenities, with which guests of all ages & interests will be delighted. Amenities include a state-of-the art fitness facility, an indoor heated pool, arcade game room, tennis courts, six river parks with pavilions and fire pits, fishing pond, playgrounds, miniature golf, The Coosawattee Library, and so much more.

Snow Bird Leases run Monday, January 3rd through Wednesday, April 6th, 2011:

One bedroom = $675/month for 3 months
Two bedrooms = $750/month for 3 months
Three bedrooms = $850/month for 3 months (no hot tubs)

Electricity is not included in the lease and must be paid monthly. We are sorry, but no pets are allowed. Additionally, no housekeeping services are included; however, the services can be negotiated if interested. Please note that the washer and dryer are apartment size. A limited number of units are available.
