Are Laxatives A Safe Way To Lose Weight?

By:

Is there any such thing as true laxative weight loss?

We all know obesity is a major epidemic in our society. There are too many fat people. It's a huge problem, and we all must work to fix it. So many solutions are being talked about. One of the these is laxatives.

Are there any dangers to using laxatives for weight management? Are there any pluses?

Weight loss through laxatives is very possible, and safe, and legitimate, but only in a particular way, but it's not the way most people want it to be, because it's the natural way.

Eat more fruits and veggies, and you'll have a laxative effect, and lose weight, too, as you replace fats and calories with low fat, health foods.

That's the real laxative weight loss solution.

Chemical and medical laxatives aren't going to help you lose weight, and they may seriously hurt you.

Some people never get the idea.

There's an article quoted on my website taking about the use of laxatives for weight loss. It's got so much misinformation. The writer says that by taking laxatives, "everything you eat will be released."

Nothing could be more false.

All laxatives have legitimate medical uses. They stimulate the bowels. They can clean the colon for needed procedures. They have their uses, and they're ok for occasional use, but laxatives for losing weight? Not a chance.

Laxatives work in the lower part of the large intestines. By the time digested food reaches this the large intestines, which where laxatives work, calories have been taken out of the food, and are already in your system.

It is not possible to use laxatives to remove the stuff in your food that makes fat.

Laxative cause you to dump waste. Laxatives do nothing about fat stores.
Don't attempt to do something that can't be done. Any laxatives other than fruits and veggies for laxative weight loss is a bad idea.

Laxatives are addictive when overused. Laxative addiction leads to permanent bowel problems.

The loss of vital fluids, minerals, and the resulting imbalances in pH, and in electrolytes - from laxatives - can cause bowel spams, muscle pain, dizziness, renal failure, and death
.
There's nothing safe about laxative weight loss, and it won't work for you.
