This can be a bit of a confusing idea to ponder. Are these one and the same? Or, if you are doing your best aren't you being your best, or vice versa? It can all depend on what the character of the person is, and what the task at hand is. If someone is doing their best to be a thief than, obviously, they are not being their best.

How This Relates to Your Marketing Platform

When you plan and launch your marketing platform, you are telling the world about you, your brand and your business. Getting people to trust you, your brand and your business is the key. People buy when they trust another person and, when possible, feel a connection to that person. By making sure you present yourself to others as genuine and honest means they can believe you are being your best. You may also be doing your best to present yourself this way to others, but it will only feel legitimate if you are honestly being the best you that you can be.

The same goes for your behavior when writing your blog posts, replying to comments or responding to emails. Even if there is something negative you are tempted to say, you have to BE better than that. You have to obviously be your best. Again, you are doing your best to hold back from responding negatively, but your best you will come through to help see the way to do that.

Doing Your Best and Being THE Best

If you are your best, then you have to be doing your best. Being your best leaves you no option other than being your best. A good majority of people who follow this thought pattern are successful, but also likeable and trustworthy. There are exceptions and there are those who do their best at being ruthless. While this may work for them for a while, the consequences do eventually catch up. The liars, cheats and embezzlers you hear about in the news when they are on their way to prison did their best to not get caught, for a while.
