There are more than 150 apprenticeships available across various sectors and industries with a lot of scopes to be explored. So, one can choose an apprenticeship according to his or her field of study and interest. The apprenticeship ranges from nail servicing to nuclear engineering, sea fishing to scaffolding, carpentry to ceramics, manufacturing to architecture, etc. So, no matter whatever is your field of interest, you can always find an apprenticeship for yourself if you are willing to work while you are still studying. Apprenticeships can be divided into a number of subdivisions namely beauty and well being, energy, customer service, creative, charity and volunteering, construction, energy and electrical etc.
There are three major levels of apprenticeships. The first is the intermediate level apprenticeship which works towards the NVQ Level 2, key skills etc. The advanced level apprenticeship work towards the NVQ level 3 and learning based qualification like BTEC. Higher Level
apprenticeships work towards NVQ Level 4 mainly. An apprenticeship can provide you with all the three- money, qualification and training. All these three have high importance and significance in a life of a youngster. So, taking up an apprenticeship which only makes you gain and loose nothing.
