Apple May Unveil Models Of The Ipad 3 In 2012

By:

The Apple iPad is currently the most popular tablet device on the market. One of the reasons behind its popularity is that the tablet design, as well as many of its apps makes business such as PC remote control software usage easy and practical. Even though the Apple iPad is the leader on todays market for tablets PC's, it is not perfect according to many technology reviewers and consumers that have used it.

One of the most common complaints about the iPad is the price, which is currently too high for many users who would be looking to buy a tablet PC. This has allowed some competitors, such as the Kindle Fire, to move forward and take a share of the market. However, according to information in a Eweek report, Apple may be set to unveil 2 models of iPad 3 as well as a lower priced model of the iPad 2 at the MacWorld / iWorld Expo that is scheduled to be held on January 26th 2012. However, this information hasn't yet been confirmed by Apple, as it was based on rumors collected from companies in Apple's supply chain. According to many experts, it is credible that Apple is working on new models of the iPad, however there is still some doubt regarding when they will be announced or put up for sale to consumers.

With the release of 3 new models of the iPad, Apple is seeking to target different users. First, there are business users who want a powerful device to run demanding applications like Remote Control Software. There are mid-range home users, as well as those who would like to have a tablet PC but can't afford the current price tag on the Apple iPad 2.

Many experts believe that this move is a result of Apple recognizing that it has some competitors that are gaining ground in the marketplace for tablet PCs. There's the Kindle Fire, obviously, but Samsung hasn't yet given up in its fight to bring forward a good quality tablet that will rival the iPad. Also, Microsoft has announced that it is planning to partner up with manufacturers who will carry Windows 8 based tablet PCs. There is already some software being developed for the Windows 8 platform, especially business tools like remote access programs and communications software. Just how well Apple will be able to remain in the market for tablet PCs is still being speculated on, however many experts estimate that Apple will still be in the lead during the 2012 year, unless some of their competitors release a product that is both well priced and has powerful specifications.
