Tapas are snacks that people consume together with wine when dining in tapas bars or Spanish restaurants. Tapas are classified as appetizers and it is a significant part of Spanish meals.

Finger foods are snacks that can be eaten by hand and without the need for a fork and plate. Finger foods are small versions of big meals that can be eaten while standing. Spanish tapas are very elegant and easy to prepare finger foods that require minimal effort. Spanish hams and sausages can be served alone and without the need for accompaniments because they are already luxurious even just by themselves. All they will need is a beautiful presentation like the addition of herbs and cut vegetables on the serving platter.

Finger foods can also mean salads that are served on disposable plates and they are not limited to meat and vegetables. All the guests have to do is to pick out what they choose from the table and move on to their friends. They will also look wonderful when grouped in an artfully arranged cluster. If you want your finger foods to be more of a laid back style, you can serve it on barbecue sticks and let guests pick them from tables. Another way of serving appetizers is by using shot glasses, champagne flutes, and other cocktail glasses. They are usually served during weddings and special occasions. This is a very elegant way to serve them.
