We all enjoy watching cartoons, animated movies and advertisements. Likewise, we should understand the importance of technology and artistic skills behind that. Animation is a technology boon to human world.

Animation is considered as a form of art and is commonly used in areas like entertainment and education. This art blends entertainment and technology to get innovative outputs by going through processes like design, drawing, layout, creating graphical image and then the final stage - the beautiful multimedia clips. A person with good artistic skills and sound knowledge about animation technologies will get immense opportunities to show talents. All that they have to do is create an image on their imagination and express their thoughts in an effective way. As time and space plays a vital role in making a good animated template, a good animator will give life to the characters just like a tailor bird sews its nest.

One of the first and best full length animated movie that gained space in our heart is Walt Disneys Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Directors magical hands gave a Midas touch to the characters in the movie, which we still remember because of its lively art and brilliant music. It was really interesting to watch the film where beautiful Snow White has to hide in jungles with seven dwarfs to protect herself from a jealous queen, which is her step mother. But the queen will find her and give her poisonous apple to eat; later Prince Charming will rescue her and marry her. And, the Prince and Snow White live happily ever after.

As times passed more techniques were evolved to curtail animation creators burdens and now so many new softwares and tutorials are available on the web for those who want to study animation course by themselves. My fantasy towards animation forced me to acquire additional information about this, so I browsed from my home PC, connected to Verizon FiOS Internet, and collected lots of information regarding this.
We use animation mostly for giving special effects, simulations, presentations, and full-length and short-length movie making. Doing animation with the help of computers will speed up the process, while giving it more clarity and efficiency other than cost saving. Two main types of animations that we can create with the help of computer are two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms.
Evolution of 2D animation software, takes away labors hard ships by giving options like editing and manipulation. Using PowerPoint, Flash animation etc an image will be created or edited in bitmap graphics and vector graphics. Then the computer will give motion to the objects automatically, in contrary to traditional hand drawn animation, where we have to draw different positions of an object in separate frames. Some of the techniques used for giving two dimensional views to an object are morphing, onion and interpolated rot scoping.

Meanwhile, 3D animation relates more towards reality, where we cant find the difference between the real world and the imaginary world. Movies and advertisements use this type of animation, where we can easily give three dimensional effects to screen-shots like flood, explosions, fire, smoke etc. Use of mathematical codes, display of actions and colors give a realistic texture to 3D animation pictures. CGI, or Computer-generated imagery, is the technique that is used in 3D computer graphics and this gives special effects to advertisements, television programs, cartoons, commercial films and feature films.

For animators skys the limit. An experienced animator can find a better job with production companies dealing with movies and television serials, other than web designing, animation, video game etc. If you think you have creative skills, with an eye for detailing and crisp presentation, then step into the thrilling world of animation and give life to your imaginations.
