When you are considering a link building plan, do you consider what anchor texts you are going to use and the frequency in which you are going to use certain anchor text? So you have your keyword in place, how are you going to anchor your text? Well you need to choose link building methods that allow you to choose the anchor text. There are many methods available but some of the best are article marketing, blog carnivals and directory submissions.

If you are now thinking there is an issue as these pages will carry little if any page rank dont worry. A link may carry little link juice but that does not mean it cannot pass on anchor text value and relevance, after all this is what Google want to see. Think about logically, Google want natural editorial links, editorial link are rarely given from the homepage of a site and more likely to be found on a deep page with little page rank, these link actually look more natural and will serve your search engine optimisation efforts well in the long run.
