An Overview Of Fujitsu Tablet Pcs

By:

Fujitsu Tablet PCs are computers before they're tablets, and that's much appreciated. They don't run cut down or tailor-made operating systems that only run apps designed specially for them. They run Windows 7 Pro. They do more than let you on the internet, play games and check your email.

Running a real operating system means complete compatibility with all the programs that you already know. There's no need to buy some stripped down app. Anything that you laptop or desktop runs your Fujitsu will too. All of your files can move seamlessly from one platform to another without conversion or hassle.

There are two styles available from Fujitsu. The slate is a standard tablet, more or less a screen in a box. The convertible is a kind of midpoint between slate and laptop. It offers the convenience of a full keyboard, DVD drive and expanded port selections with the fast and easy interface of a tablet. The convertible also has a larger screen.

A convertible is able to deliver much greater performance and storage capacity because of it's larger size. On both counts they are able to compete with laptops. For those who really need that extra power at their finger tips and don't mind a little extra weight and size this is the way to go. They aren't quite laptop size, and the touchscreen means no mouse to set up or annoying touchpad. If you need the performance you can afford a bag to carry it around in.

So many options out there are glorified cell phones without the phone functionality, or have features that the average SmartPhone could handle anyway. These are for getting business done. If you are looking for something to watch movies on and browse the web then you are probably getting more machine than you really need. If you are always working and can't afford to be behind your desk all of the time, than this is for you.

Their machines have some of the heaviest technical specifications in the field and storage space that can't be beaten. With full size SD slots the storage space can be expanded greatly and the processors are solidly in the upper end of the spectrum. They've gone the single core route, which carries a set of advantages and disadvantages that you'll have to weigh out for yourself.

All the options carry full speed wi-fi connectivity. They won't connect to a cell phone network, but almost everywhere you might need to pull this thing out will have wi-fi anyway. The Windows platform also means seamless integration with your home or office network. Bluetooth is also supported, so you can use your headset during all those video conferencing calls. Yes, there's a webcam as well.

This is the full PC platform placed squarely in the palm of your hand. Fujitsu has brought a grown up operating system, real ports and solid performance to the tablet. This comes with a comparable price tag, but it's worth it to pay for a little more when you get a little more.
