While other people who are still doing things the hard way are stuck at .07 cents per line, you'll be making .12 cents per line before you know it.

It is a wise decision to start paying more attention to detail now instead of waiting until later. You may end up not making as much money now, but your reports will be better, and higher transcription salary will be available. A higher confidence in your skill won't make asking for a raise or applying for a new job so difficult. Now it might take you about an hour to type 100 lines, which is pretty average. What if you could type 200 to 300 lines in an hour, all because you took the time to better your skills? That's practically doubling and tripling your current transcription salary! Just think, it's possible, all you have to do is apply yourself.
