An Eve Noobs Confessions - Part 7

By:

New week, new adventures. Though the truth is that there was so much game for me this weekend, so here are three days away. Of course, I will do my best to fill every day with unnecessary words and other nonsense, eve isk,but in the end, there is a limit to how much you can dilute the "I went and dug ore from asteroids in three days."

Day 10:

This will be very short because I had little time to play much at all on this day. Lag that plagued me in recent days appears to have given in and you can actually play again. Suitable for testing mining with my new cruiser, the model I bought is the one with most space for the thing, so it should fit nicely right to dig with.

Throw in two modules that provide extra cargo space and three excavators and provides me out to the asteroids, there is surprisingly very asteroids left, so I get started and dig in full swing. Have twice as much space in my ship compared to the old, but it still feels as though that you get full right away and forced to go to the space station to clear the cargo area. Viewing the market and see that it almost makes more of the minerals you can refine out the ore, so I start training in righteousness that makes you get less waste when it refines. It was like everything to day 10.

Day 11:

Logs on and starts to take mining when I receive a message from an elf. Responds and notice that it was the same guy who was with me during my second day to join his Corporation. I turned it down then with the explanation that I had fully BIG JOB to keep track of what was right and the left in the game, eve isk,but said he gladly heard of when I played for a week.

Now when he heard of again, this time I answered yes. And is now a proud member of the Automated Systems and Turbo Dynamics, what it stands for? I have not the faintest. It is a smallish Corporation, with only a handful of active members, who appear to be from the U.S. or Australia or something similar. I have not had time to question, since I only seen them once at the same time as me. Not quite optimal, maybe, but it is a helskn bundle with MVP. Can say that there will be a lot more fun to dig in asteroids when you have five total crazy people that talk shit with. I just hope I get to play with them a little bit more in the future.

Encountered a small problem, I have dug out a massive pile of ore, but if I want to sell it, I have to a star system that is two jumps away, there are an infinite number of trips to do if I want to use my current ship. Suppose that convert the ore into minerals, when they take up less space. But I'm not good enough to refine than for it to be worth it, decide to wait until tomorrow to take a decision on the matter. The price of ore may go up so I do not have to carry shit at all.

Do a tip from a chat on the Corporation to train me so I can use a warp stabilizer, so that if I am against all odds would be attacked so I can maybe, with a theoretical chance to get away. I do not have high hopes for my ability to do something sensible in a real space battle, but it's silly not to be as prepared as possible.

Then it will be night and snoring time.

Day 12:

Logs in and dig a bit more asteroids, then I get bored. I can skills needed to train me so I can use Industrial spaceship, it's basically a long tube with a motor in the back, eve isk,and have massive amounts of cargo space. But the catch is that it is not possible to practice the skill on a trial account. Thinking for a while but then I give up, the game is obvious fun, they can fuck some real stlars of me, they are worth it, those who made EVE. A few minutes later, I'm $ 20 poorer, but a real WOW account richer. Picks up a fast frdighetsbok for Industrial and begin to practice it.

Run some task to an agent while my skill training, and soon, I can fly cans with engines. Buying an Industrial I baptize the Fat Man, loading it full of ore and simmers away against the star system where someone cheated motherfucker want to pay much more than any other for this particular ore. It is tough! I thought that it was tough when I switched from frigate to cruiser, this scab will of course fuck my cruiser to indicate that the worst Formula 1 car. Fat Man really lives up to its name, I can perfectly hear back signal as it struggles to turn around in space for homing in on Jump Street. Strangely enough, it is faster than the cruiser once it entered the Warp. I guess that is what happens when you take a ship that is a few hundred meters long but only type 5 meters wide, hard to turn but a fucking speed straight ahead. Type.

Succeed anyway veer away my ore in the end, for a decent sum in fact, it seems that maybe I can do something sensible with my digging now. Of course there are more efficient ways of doing it but it takes more and more expensive ships for it,eve isk,I am pretty happy with my results so far. My merchant who became a pirate Pang and now retrained to the excavator continues to evolve, soon they might find on something else to make money?

He who lives will see.
