An Easy Way To Make Wine - Wine Making Course

By:

So, you are thinking about starting your own little wine cellar with your own home made wine to enjoy and share with friends. Yea for you! You've thought to yourself "There must be an easy way to make wine myself. I'll just take some wine making courses."

How hard can it be? Some fruit juice, some sugar and yeast, stir and put in the pantry for a couple months right? It can't be that difficult.

Well I didn't do so well in chemistry class in high school so maybe that's why my first few batches of home made wine turned out like---ugh---vinegar. It's not that wine is hard to make, it's just that it is an art and a science. For me it was good to have a tutor. I'll tell you more about Mike in a minute.

But I Don't Even Know How To Start

There are websites and wine making courses that will tell you that they can show you how to make wine easily and then tell you that you need to buy hundreds of dollars in equipment to successfully make wine at home. It's just not true. There are some basic things you will need. Here is a list that I found useful; later when you have more experience you can buy fancier equipment.

* A plastic bucket or a glass container (I use a big mason jar) 2 gallons with a lid that fits snugly on top.
* A plastic or wooden spoon
* A large enamel pan that can be used to boil ingredients (if called for in recipe)
* A piece of cheesecloth or a pair of ladies nylons for straining the must
* A demijohn or a fermenting vessel with a rubber bung and airlock (find it online)
* A funnel
* Bottles with corks or stoppers
* Plastic tube for siphoning
* A bottle cleaning brush

See, that's not so bad. Now all you need to do is get some recipes . . . but not all recipes are created equal. Let's back up; first, check out what Mike
has to say about the best and easiest recipes. (You'll be glad you did)

My Fantasy

In the beginning, I could see myself pouring a glass of my wine for my friends and hearing them compliment me on how incredible and delicious it is. "Where did you get this wine?" They would gasp. I would humbly say, "I made it myself" and then flash a huge smile of satisfaction.

After a few tries I was starting to see my little daydream fade to dark. That is until I met Mike Carraway, my wine making coach. I read about him online and got his wine making course. He covers everything about wine making and is even there if I get stuck.

Since that time, I've made many delightful kinds of wines with Mike's help. I've also hosted wine making parties to show my friends the easy way to make wine.

Of course, I am always thrilled to introduce them to Mike so he can share all the magic of the wine making science. He does it so well! There is no need to look at other wine making courses.
