When you are an Amway independent distributor, it's important to educate yourself in the marketing field. It's wise to be aware that this venture of yours is a "business", and just like any other, needs financial investment, as well as your valuable time. Don't let your friends judge you as being involved in the "Amway scam", because the reality is, all multilevel programs take time to get off the ground, usually about three months. * REQUIRES A LOT A MARKETING AND PROMOTING
* MULTIPLE INCOME STREAMS REQUIRE MANY YEARS OF HARD WORK AND INVESMENT BEFORE IT PAYS OFF
* MANY PEOPLE WOULD RATHER NOT ORDER PRODUCTS DUE TO HIGH COSTS PLUS SHIPPING
* BE PREPARED TO SAVE TIME IN YOUR SCHEDULE FOR WEEKLY MEETINGS
* SELLING AMWAY USUALLY IS DONE IN PERSON, WHICH CAN SLOW YOUR SALES

THE FORMULA FOR SUCCESS....

When you've made the choice to take this leap, I've outlined a few basic rules to follow to achieve success. These rules actually apply to any MLM, as my expertise is in network marketing, not Amway.

STEP 1: YOU CAN ATTRACT BUSINESS TO LOOK FOR YOU WHEN YOU POSSESS THE RIGHT MINDSET AND ATTITUDE..

To do this, you actually do not have to nag your relatives or friends about your business. (Contrary to popular belief, a "hard sell" attitude can create the nag reputation to where people start avoiding you - just as I witnessed with my in-laws!) On the contrary, be low key on the uptake. You don't want to open any conversation where you are bombarding a friend or stranger with news about an Amway product. For example, you can causally mention how "Amway's soap has left your clothes cleaner and saved you money in the long run", with genuine excitement. Once you take a positive approach and change your mindset, you'll be amazed at how your excitement can spread. The identical technique of positive mindset is used to recruit others. When you honestly help the people you recruit, you'll become a magnet for others to seek you out.

STEP 2: STAY IN CONTACT REGULARLY WITH YOUR DOWNLINE AND KEEP THEM ENTHUSIASTIC.

Here's where you make good use of the internet. All you need is a progressive flow of emails and occasional phone calls to make sure they're on the right track. It's best to always be providing value to help others build their business. The more you educate, the more equipped everyone will be and your relationship with your downline becomes stronger.
