All Waste Removal Services Wants Communities To Support This Year's Breast Cancer Walk

Michigan company, ALL WASTE, LLC, headquartered in Shelby Twp., will be among the top sponsors of this years Breast Cancer 3-Day 60-Mile Walk, August 14 to the 16.
ALL WASTE president and founder, Sherman Rogers, and his family knows all to well what it means to fight the battles against breast cancer. Shermans wife, Michele, began her own courageous battle three years ago and won.
It wasnt too long ago when a diagnosis of breast cancer was a death sentence for everyone. Today, nearly 90% of women diagnosed with breast cancer will survive their disease at least 5 years, according to the National Cancer Institute. Yet, with fund raising, community awareness activities and corporate sponsorship of those activities the next five years will see an extension of five-year survival rates and a high percentage figure closer to 100%.
Shermans goal in 2009 is to draw more attention of the communities that his company serves than in the past two years. In 2007, ALL WASTE painted its roll off dumpsters, garbage dumpsters and roll containers pink. Last years 3-day, 60-mile walk was supported by ALL WASTE. Shermans company supplied all trash pick up services throughout the event. ALL WASTE will join the elite sponsors in this years Breast Cancer Walk such as the Never say quit spirit of the Energizer Bunny, Bank of America and New Balance.
Eighty-five percent of the net proceeds of this event go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
