Wind energy: Wind energy is basically the kinetic energy associated with atmospheric air. We can convert wind power to useful form of energy, using wind turbines, wind mills, wind pumps or wind sails. Also this form of natural energy is being used by us from prehistoric times, for ex. We used wind sails to propel our ships, boats in sea or river or we had been using wind energy for grinding food grains. But advancement in technology has proven that wind energy can also be converted in useful forms of energy like electrical energy. Green Energy: Green energy refers to the energy that can be extracted, generated and/or consumed without any negative impact on the environment. The planet has capacity to recover the limited pollution. Any energy which satisfies these criteria is termed as green energy. All the renewable energy sources fallows the criteria of limited pollution so they can be thought in the context of green energy.

Bio-fuels: Fuels derived from living plants, animals or their byproducts are termed as biofuels. Biofuels contains stored solar energy and they are considered as carbon neutral as same amount of carbon is absorbed during the lifetime of plants.

Some of the biofuels being used are:

-Biodiesel: It is vegetable or animal fat based oil, made by chemically reacting lipids with alcohol. Biodiesel is proved to be good substitute for conventional diesel which very important in todays era.

-Bioethanol: It is substitute for petrol and can be produced from cereal based crops like wheat, sugar beat, maze, soybeans and sugarcane.

-Biogas: Gas produced by biological breakdown of organic matter in absence of oxygen is called biogas. The raw materials used for biogas are: daily waste produced in your house, manure from cow, pig and horse, agricultural waste. As any waste material with full of energy and in any proportion can be used as raw material to produce biogas. So it gives us a chance to produce energy from waste material that nay not any use for us.

-Bioalcohol: Biologically produced alcohol mainly ethanol and propanol and butanol, are in combination with conventional biofuels like petrol and diesel.

We can produce these biofuels using naturally available resources. So they are helping to reduce the conventional fuel price like petrol, diesel or LPG. In todays world of global warming, pollution, green house affect these bio fuels plays very important role.
