All About Hair Dryers: Some Facts

There are many appliances available for drying the hair. Some of them are the hair dryer and hand held blow dryer. Out of these the hair dryers are the ones that work at a faster pace and make the wok more and easier. It usually uses a motor for the process of blowing the heated air for drying. And nowadays, there are many innovations taking place in this tool. Many add-on attachments and diffusers are provisioned for various uses, for example, for straightening, curling, and many others for setting different styles. Diffuser is used for enhancing the volume of the hair and mass; for example for curly hair, it gives softer curls thereby avoids the frizziness.

If one opts to use once in a while, its good as it ensures the hair to be healthy. While, for those use it permanently, there can be a problem of dry and coarse hair with split ends. To avoid this problem, they must use ceramic or ionic or a combined type of hair dryer.

Ionic dryers: These types of dryers blow charged ions along with the warm air to the hair, where the water molecules are broken down and absorbed by the hair. This also ensures conservation of natural oils and retention of moisture. When these are used in the hair, it always ensures a shiny glowing hair which is very beautiful. Here too, many advances are made; for example the using of tourmaline. The reason behind this is that in ensures the generation of negative ions.

So this type of dryers always keeps dryness and frizziness at bay, thereby giving the hair a sleek shiny look.

Ceramic hair dryers: These are the ones which allow an even distribution of heat to the hair. This avoids the problem of over heating. This is because of the unique ceramic coils present in them which also are considered to be the heat dispersion keystones. These too help in maintaining the moisture and natural oils in the hair and also prevent fungal and bacterial growth. Therefore this ensures a healthy scalp for a healthy hair.
