Aligning Your Conscious Attention To Who You Are

By: Elysha

You are not your body. You are not your mind. These things arise in who you are.

You are the "aliveness" that is flowing through your vehicle and out of your eyes in this very moment right now.

Forget who you are - this "amness", "areness" - and you will automatically believe yourself to be your mind and body once again, suffering what that belief delivers and not luxuriating in the "lovebliss" of self, the heart. This "motion of seeing" that is flowing through your eyes right now is who you are.

It is the "central point" where who you are is flowing into manifestation via this mindbody that you believe yourself to be. You align your conscious attention to this very "aliveness" that is flowing through and come to rest as this "seeing" and immediately you are free of who you think you are.

This is the beginning of the journey of self discovery for those who "practise" being who they already are. It is only in being who you already are that you have any possibility whatsoever of finding out how great who you are is.

To not be who you are leaves you under the "guidance" of who you think you are and if you have not "bent" your mind to being who you are - coming to rest as this "motion of seeing" that is flowing through your eyes right now - then this restless mind of yours will have you being distracted and lost in "notyou" "notyou"ness, even though who you are still and already is.

The only difference is that while distracted, you know it not.

If you are not being who you are then you are attempting to be something that was never true of you to begin with. This brings you misery, pain and suffering - with "spatterings" of pleasure.

You cannot "gate crash" who you are with who you think you are.

You have to surrender all ideas of who you think you are to be who you are. You cannot come to rest as this "motion of aliveness" that is flowing through your eyes while you are listening to the thinking that is rolling through your mind, as if that were who you are.

About the Author:
http://www.elysha.org/essences.html - This journey of self discovery still continues, and will continue to do so until the complete unravelling and dissolution of this vast and complex package, which constitutes the person currently known as "Elysha", completes itself and there is no longer any trace of this person to arise out of the "nothingness" from where it began such a long long time ago.

  • Heaven Without Religion By: Roy E. Klienwachter - In my early childhood days, I spent some time going across the border to The Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children. In my young mind there were basically two countries; Canada and the United States. I couldn't fathom any other borders or countries; I didn't know how it worked. I asked my mom if there was an end to the world; she didn't understand my question and referred me to my grandmother as she was more religious than her. They got me all wrong;

  • Evolving Beyond Religion By: Roy E. Klienwachter - Religion to the mature adult is as dinosaurs are to a three-year-old. Both are created by a maturing mind that lives in uncertainty times and fear. The one thing that parenting should have taught us is that kids go through stages of maturity or evolution that are predictable and understandable. Humanity is the same way. In the bigger picture evolution is not a reality in that all events are probabilities that already exist but not experienced. Intellectual minds do not choose religion intelligently but emotionally.
  • The Jesus Family Tomb: Science, Religion and a Rational Christianity By: David Comings -       People often ask if science and religion are compatible. This is a reasonable question given that science is based on verifiable fact while most religions require blind acceptance of dogma based on faith. In this regard science and religion would seem to be continuously at odds. Science says, "show me the evidence or I will not believe." Religion says, "Just believe, faith is belief without evidence."
  • Receiving Your Divine Messages By: Stephanie Russell - Have you ever imagined that you are receiving Divine messages and guidance all the time? That you are continually guided in everything that you do? Whether you realize it or not, you are consistently receiving Divine messages. Maybe you doubt the validity of what I'm telling you. Maybe you're asking why, if you are so Divinely guided, your life is so far from where you want it to be. Probably because you haven't yet learned to listen. The Divine messages are there for you, and they are always there.
  • The Divine guru represents the Unmanifest Form of God By: Abha - To move deep within – many past sanskars have to be cleared out; without total purifications one cannot move inwards; towards God. I have experienced; how with the right purification from a divya (divine) guru; the karmas of this life and past lives can be felt, accepted and understood in the right positive manner; in the least of time. This also is possible after lifetimes of being born as a human; that there could be that collection of noble or pure deeds within my karmic cycles (prarabdh);
  • Purity in Darshans By: Abha Shahra - Total bhao and purity are required when visiting your Diety. The total focus and mind have to be directed on the darshans. The other activities that form our routine have to take a back seat. Maintenance of purity in mind, body, soul, bhao has to be given importance if tangible effects are required. Concentration should be on satsang and meditations - so that mind can be silenced and one can be totally present when darshans open.

The importance of Ritual should never be underestimated, but understanding why it's important is something that I think should be looked at in a closer light. When most people write about Wiccan ceremonies or worship, I have often seen a focus on the tools required and the language.
