You may have heard about the newest craze in the extreme sports world. When you first see this truly new development you know you are seeing something unique. They seem to lope along like some type of prehistoric ‘raptor’ as they move down a side street.  Suddenly the Air-Trekker bounds into the air traveling some 10 – 15 feet in a single leap.  The explosion of action continues as the jumping stilt pedestrian flies past and down the street.  You have just experienced what many in Europe see daily – true high speed mobility on a pair of 21st century, jumping stilts.
 
Invented by a German engineer in the late 90’s, jumping stilts are now taking claim as the newest and fastest growing of the recent extreme sports developments.  Perhaps you have seen them on your television screen in the cutting edge Zurich insurance commercials.  Sittings of these unusual devices will significantly increase across North American over the next 6 months as suppliers search for them.
