Ahmad Dabboussi - A Helper To The Elderly

By:

Ahmad Dabboussi has always concerned himself to issues in the Sydney community. In his everyday life, he does not succumb to apathy that unfortunately many people has fallen prey of. He has genuine concern for people - not only in terms of their finances, but in their general well-being. This concern is very much evident in his silent but active involvement in community groups and in responding to health issues in his locality.
One of the pressing problems that Mr. Ahmad Dabboussi has allowed himself to get involved in is in terms of elderly care. We all know that elderly care in Sydney is not exactly the best in the world. The growing number of elderly in the area is not in keeping with the budget allocations provided by the State.
Mr. Ahmad Dabboussi has dealt with a large number of clients. These are people who would like their investments to be properly laid out so that when retirement comes, they do not have to worry about anything else. Through all his dealings, Ahmad Dabboussi became curious about what old age would be like for his clients. He tried to look into what their daily needs will be, what their idea of financial stability would be, and what kind of life for them will be enjoyable. Of course, the thought of a prosperous family with healthy grandchildren, a big garden to unwind in, and a healthy body are one of those which came into his mind.

However, at the corner of his mind, Ahmad Dabboussi began to think about what it would be like in the other side of the coin.
What is old age like when you are forced to go into a nursing home and have other people take care of you? Mr. Ahmad Dabboussi does not generalize that these elderly people who are based in nursing homes have not made the right financial decisions. What he truly feels is sympathy for them. Mr. Ahmad Dabboussi has visited various nursing cares and has actually seen the difficulties of the old people here and how difficult it is as well to provide them the health care that they need.
Ahmad Dabboussi thought about what he could do, in his own little way, to help the entire aged care system. He then saw that some form of automation in the entire nursing home can benefit the entire elderly health care in general. Ahmad Dabboussi then contacted Southern Cross Care, Inc, which is one of the leading aged care providers in the whole of Australia with about 55 facilities.
Being in the area of business solutions, the best he could do was to provide them with the latest technology and modernized system through an accounting software. This way, to manage their 600% growth rate, Southern Cross Care can use this technology rather than increase their accounting staff count. Also, they can allot their additional savings in providing better facilities or hiring more health care professionals. The adoption of the software called Greentree, made possible through Ahmad Dabboussi, was a great help to the non-profit organization to be of further service to the elderly.
