Affordable Web Design---is It At All Possible

Affordable Web Design

Affordable web design is essesntially what everyone wants. You do not want to pay lots of money for a website. But what is the actual cost of an "affordable website?" Isn't a good design part of the deal? Don't you want one that is easy for your customers to use? And finally, don't you want one that isn't down all the time? All these are considerations of any "affordable website".

So let's look at the first consideration. Money. A good website, with all of the above stuff in good working order, takes a little time to build. What should you pay for that? How about $400? How about $1,000? How about $5,000??? Ouch! $5,0000 for a website? That's way more than you were thinking of, wasn't it? Yes I believe so. But how many pages does your website have? Are you supplying the content or are you paying a webmaster to write it? Only a 10 page site and you will write the content? Then I would say that $300-400 would be very fair indeed.

On the other hand, if you cannot write the content you can then double the price. That's right.
Figure on paying $800 at least for having a webmaster write all your content. And don't hire your brother-in-law to build your site for half price. Why? you ask. I will tell you why.

Do you want a site that works? Do you want the words to go across the page and then right across the photographs? Or do you want the words upside down and right across the photos too?
Then hire your brother-in-law! You see, it isn't affordable if it doesn't work to start with, is it?1

The same goes for inexperienced web designers. Oh, they may be inexpensive all right. but once again, do you want the photos so dark they all look like "night in the closet?" I don't think so.
But web designers all have to start somewhere. I suggest very strongly that you do not let them start with you. It may be "affordable web design," but again, at what price??? Not very afordable when you come right down to it, is it?

This article is x-rated for X-tra good content. It is also not 500 words, but it is close. S o I have to add something. So let's reexaine your desire to have Uncle Leo do your site for free. Guess what? It is going to cost you big time in the end. It's not going tobr optimized for the search engines. So that makes doinf SEO on it prectically impossilbe! It may have many misspellings. Which is going to cost you in credibility if you ever do have someone stumble upone it. Andit may not be that easy to navigate, which means the 9 seconds you have to get someone's attention will be lost on trying to get somewhere befroe he or she gives up and leaves your site for good, never to return. And you think that free sites don'r cost you? They cost you plenty!!!
