Affirmations - A Primer For Creating Your Own

By:

Unlike old dogs who can't learn new tricks, our brains are capable of constant learning. Even old habits are candidates for re-programming. Recent neuroscience analysis suggests that brain cells are constantly being regenerated, even into previous age, which our neural pathways (the connections between brain cells that produce ingrained ways that of thinking and reacting) will be re-directed and re-programmed.
One technique for retraining the brain is using affirmations. Affirmations, as the name implies, is a method of affirming an outcome that we desire. Affirmations declare that the thing of our desire is already manifested. As a result of our brains cannot differentiate between what we tend to imagine and what really happens, affirmations will work to form new neural pathways in our brain and enable us to reach our dreams by attracting an outcome we have a tendency to desire.
Scientists also are finding that our thoughts aren't private. Our thoughts and intentions produce energy that can be remodeled into matter. Indeed, our physical world is simply a manifestation of someone's thought - the computer I am typing on, an airplane, a house, my family, all started as a concept in someone's mind.
The wonderful facet of affirmations is that we tend to consciously opt for the thoughts that we tend to want to manifest, and therefore the energy of these thoughts attract wondrous things to us.
There are many simple rules to recollect in making and using affirmations:
1. State your affirmation in this tense.
CORRECT: "My body feels nice"
INCORRECT: "My body can become freed from pain."
If phrased in future tense, you produce an energy that is attracting something for the longer term, thus the attainment of your desire is often pushed into the future.
2. Phrase your affirmation positively.
CORRECT: "My body feels nice"
INCORRECT: "I do not experience any pain."
By focusing on the positive, you attract your desire. Specializing in the negative attracts the negative. The energy created by a positive statement is different from a statement that negates that that is undesirable.
3. Affirmations concentrate on the top result, not the means that to attain it.
CORRECT: "My body feels nice"
INCORRECT: "I find a doctor who helps alleviate my pain."
It's the Universe's job to craft the roadmap that will direct you to your destination. Our job is to affirm the outcome, recognize the opportunities that the Universe presents to us and to act on them.
4. Power up your affirmation by feeling the emotions that can come with achieving your desire.
As you repeat your affirmations, imagine how you may feel once your dreams become reality. Adding during this energetic oomph is sure to enhance your affirmation.
Here are some affirmations you would possibly try:
""The love of God surrounds me."
""I love and appreciate myself, and others do too."
""Each day in every way, I purchase better and better."
""My relationship with fill within the blank is harmonious and calm."
""My home is a refuge of peace and beauty."
""My garage is neat, clean and organized."
""I am a master teacher."
""Cash flows to me with ease."
""Spirit guides me and results flow from that guidance."
Please don't simply believe what I say - strive them yourself and see what happens. I affirm that my truth may not be your truth, however my truth is what has been proven to figure for me through experimentation and experience. What will your expertise tell you?
