Adultery: Wife Committed Adultery - How You Can Get Past The Pain

Did you just find out that your wife has committed adultery? It doesn't really matter how you found out because you know now and you no longer can deny it. Finding out that your spouse has cheated on your is the most devastating event that anyone will ever go through. You are drowning in pain and you really don't know which way to turn because your entire world has gone upside down and everything seems so unreal. You are probably wondering how in the world she could do this to you.

When someone is confronted with something like their wife committing adultery they are beyond devastated. They will be in so much pain that they don't know what to do with themselves. They can feel like their whole marriage is a lie and that nothing they had with their spouse has been real. They feel like they can never trust their wife again, not what they do or what they say. They may feel like nothing will ever take their pain away.

If you have a wife that has committed adultery, then you are probably feeling all these things plus more. If you and your wife are trying to heal your marriage then I beg you to not do it on your own. You need to get a good marriage counselor and find a support network for yourself either a local support group or something online like message boards, forums or email groups. Try to stay away from people that are pushing you towards divorcing your wife. If you want to save your marriage having people around you that keep bugging you to leave your marriage, is in no way going to help you keep your marriage together. If anything, these people will only confuse you and make things harder for you and your wife to heal.

What can really help you get over a wife who has committed adultery is daily devotions. Getting closer to God and listening to His comforting words every day will really help with your healing process. You need to hear Gods wisdom for your life and your marriage. The more you get into God's word the more you will notice a change in your heart and having your heart change will then in turn change your marriage. Find some daily devotions just for the betrayed spouse because they will speak right to your heart and your situation.
