Adrenal glands are small glands, endocrine, triangular, located above the kidneys. These glands regulate the body's response to stress by synthesis of catecholamines and corticosteroids, including adrenaline and cortisol. If the adrenal glands do not work effectively, it can be in a condition called adrenal fatigue. Due to a problem with the adrenal glands, cortisol levels in the body decreases. Cortisol is necessary to cope with stress and infection control. Adrenal Fatigue is also known as hypoadrenia not Addison, adrenal insufficiency, hypoadrenia sub-clinical and neurasthenia. Adrenal insufficiency can lead to numerous health problems. You can change the metabolism of sugar in the blood, causing fatigue and weakness.

The causes of adrenal fatigue

Stress is the most common cause of adrenal fatigue. Excessive stress can be caused by pressure, movement, change of job, death of a loved one, relationship problems and physical illness. Some other factors that contribute to adrenal stress, fear, anger, guilt, depression, anxiety, excessive exercise, physical or mental stress, sleep deprivation, injury, trauma or surgery, exposure to toxic, chronic pain, chronic infection, poor digestion, absorption, chronic diseases, blood glucose and nutritional deficiencies.

* Desire for salty foods and sugary
* Overwhelmed by or unable to cope with stress
* Resistance to low, slow to recover after exercise
* Weak immune system
* Feel more energetic of the night
* Difficulty concentrating, mental confusion
* Poor digestion
* Premenstrual syndrome or difficulties that develop during menopause
* High sensitivity to cold
* Based on low blood pressure
* Tendency to gain weight and can not lose

Treatment of adrenal fatigue

Treatment of adrenal fatigue is a good diet and lifestyle. Your diet should contain enough protein and complex carbohydrates. Avoid junk food, coffee or soda. Also avoid processed foods, tobacco, snuff and alcohol. You need to do some exercises like yoga, deep breathing, meditation and walking.
