ADHD Mis-Diagnosed...What Else Are They Missing?

Did you read this headline recently?

Youngest In Class Get ADHD Label

The full story is at this link:http://tinyurl.com/23hvhfh.

It basically says that many children diagnosed with ADHD are actually not ADHD but rather just young in their class.

But there is more to consider here!

first, watch this clip from the Today Show that gives more details, but remember, there is more about this that isn't being said.

Second, consider this... Parents live with the fear and guilt of doing the right thing for their kids. They seek out "experts" for help and often have grave doubts about putting their child on medication. They may even be looked down on if they don't use medication.

And for many, the answer is something else!In this case,it's just to let them grow up.

Here is what our experience tells us:

There are many other conditions that are being mis-diagnosed as ADHD that aren't. For years we have had students come to us because someone has said they are ADHD when we find that these kids often have one or more of these issues:

Dyslexia

Auditory Processing Difficulties

Visual Processing Difficulties

Poor Memory

Inefficient Internal Organizational Skills

Retained Primitive Reflexes

Slow or Inefficient Processing Skills

And Yes, Young in their Class

The good news is that ALL these conditions can be fixed!

What Should You Do? Find out if one of these other areas is the real cause. Find a specialist in your area that really knows about these conditions.

We do consultations over the phone all the time. Give us a call and we'll be happy to tell you if further evaluation is needed.

And if we aren't the right place to get you the help you need, we'll let you know.

It's time to get to the root of the problem.Let us know how we can help.
