Studies show that eating 3 big meals a day or in many cases two large meals is not a good way to keep your digestive system flowing. A better eating regimen should consist of five smaller meals spread throughout the day. The average person should eat meals at 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, and 7pm for optimal function of their digestive system. And making this change will find you looking and feeling better in no time when those meals are filled with healthier foods.

Another change to getting healthier and living longer lies in adding activity to your life. Gradually adding a couple of minutes of activity in to your every day technique will help you to build up to the amount of activity that will have an overall impact on your health. It is ideal to tell people that they need to exercise 30 minutes each day but to those who don't exercise at all this can appear overwhelming.
